Being a native San Franciscan, I strive professionally and personally to make my hometown better! I have great compassion for San Francisco, and PHC has a stellar reputation of working with underserved and unsheltered populations. The service model, of taking [service] to the streets,\u00a0 is a creative approach to direct services. I see PHC as a conduit of connectivity for clients.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ce1126;\"><strong>Q: What do you expect to enjoy most about working at Project Homeless Connect?<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A: I love being a part of an agency that offers direct services. When providing care and resources to clients, as staff, we often witness an immediate positive impact of the services provided. Being able to see this change is very powerful and rewarding. We are experiencing and learning how this one thing helped immensely and removed an obstacle in the person&#8217;s life. I am honored to lead PHC because we are in the business of assisting others. We get to make a difference in someone&#8217;s life.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ce1126;\"><strong>Q: What does compassion mean to you?<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A: A genuine willingness to help someone! People may look different, sound different; however, gender, race, and circumstances should not change how we treat one another. We are all human.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #ce1126;\">Q: What is one way that the community can make a difference?<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A: Thinking outside the box. Willing to try new ideas and problem-solve together.\u00a0 Acknowledging that &#8220;One size fits all&#8221; is often not the solution. We have to be creative and visionaries to address various issues within our communities.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #ce1126;\">Q: What motivates you to do your best work?<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A: Space to be creative, working in collaborative ways.
