Generally Needed In-Kind Items<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

Project Homeless Connect is now accepting In-Kind Donations again!<\/h4>\n

Backpacks<\/h2>\n

<\/i><\/span> One of our MOST NEEDED<\/span><\/strong><\/span> items! Useful for securing belongings as well as trips to school, backpacks are incredibly important at all ages. We have a constant need<\/span><\/strong> for new<\/strong> adult or camping-sized backpacks. For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept used backpacks.<\/p>\n

<\/i><\/span>\u00a0 Used backpacks, children’s backpacks, anything in need of repair.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\n

Blankets<\/h2>\n

<\/i><\/span> One of our MOST NEEDED<\/span><\/strong><\/span> items! We have a constant need<\/span><\/strong> for new<\/strong> blankets. For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept used blankets.<\/p>\n

Socks<\/h2>\n

<\/i><\/span> Socks are a key component of both warmth and foot health. We collect new, moisture-wicking white crew socks.<\/p>\n

Sleeping Bags<\/h2>\n

<\/i><\/span> Another one of our MOST NEEDED<\/span><\/strong><\/span> items! Sleeping bags turn a cold night a little warmer. We have a constant need<\/span><\/strong> for new<\/strong> sleeping bags. For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept used sleeping bags. Please provide a bungee cord if there is no stuff sack or strap.<\/p>\n

Hygiene Items<\/h2>\n

<\/i>\u00a0<\/span>We accept unused<\/strong> and unopened <\/strong>Hygiene Items, either assembled in a kit or stand alone. Specifically: Soap, Shampoo, Lotion, Deodorant, Toothbrush\/ Toothpaste, Combs, Conditioner, Razors, and W<\/span>et Wipes. We request that hygiene items be Travel Size<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/i><\/span>\u00a0 \u00a0Standard sized Shampoo, Conditioner, Mouthwash, or Toothpaste[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\n

Electronics<\/h2>\n

<\/i><\/span>\u00a0 When access to a power source is hard to come by, portable phone chargers<\/strong> make life easier. We accept phone chargers, laptops, tablets, and phones. All must be<\/em> new or gently used and fully functional.<\/p>\n

Clothing<\/h4>\n

Only accepted on an as-needed basis<\/span><\/strong>. When needed, we only<\/span><\/span><\/strong> accept new<\/strong> and\u00a0adult outerwear <\/strong>(size Large and up<\/em>). Follow us on social media for current clothing needs, or contact us<\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n

Tents<\/h4>\n

In accordance with SF city regulations, we are unable to accept or distribute tents.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\n

Furniture<\/h4>\n

We don’t have the ability to take items like sofas, dining room tables, mattresses, bedroom sets, couches, large chairs, or other large furniture items.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\n

Large Appliances<\/h4>\n

We cannot accept items like stoves and large refrigerators, but we occasionally need small dorm-size refrigerators.
