Clothing (Immediate Needs)
- St. Anthony’s: Services at 121 Golden Gate Avenue. Guests will need an appointment and can shop once every 28 days. Appointments can be made through their scheduling page at FreeClothingSF.org or by speaking with one of their staff members in person. Appointments available in the morning Monday–Friday in the morning.
Computer + Charging Stations
- St. Anthony’s: The Tenderloin Technology Lab at 150 Golden Gate Ave offers free outdoor access to secure device charging (30 minutes), Wi-Fi, 15-minute laptop sessions and free printing. Staff are also available to support individuals with computers. Assistance is provided on a first-come, first-served basis with a maximum of 1 hour per guest. Services are available Monday–Friday 8:30AM–12:45PM. Visit the Tech Lab outdoor tent for more information.
COVID Testing
- GLIDE Tenderloin Neighborhood Testing site. To schedule an appointment, go to GLIDE’s Walk- In Center at 330 Ellis St Monday-Friday (10am-4pm). Testing takes place on Tuesday & Wednesday (10AM– 12PM; 1PM–4PM). Same day walk up registration and testing available.
Drop-in & Resource Centers
- Calming Corners Pop-Up with Code Tenderloin: COVID-19 Awareness, NARCAN Distribution, shower referrals and other resources. See attachment for June time and locations.
- Glide: Walk-In Center will remain open in the lobby for essential services such as DMV voucher, hygiene kits, information/referrals, rental assistance 330 Ellis St Monday–Friday (9AM–4PM). Case management by appointment only. See triage desk for more information. 415-674-6012.
- Mission Neighborhood Resource Center: Drop in center open for first 10 individuals. Sign-up starts at 7AM. 165 Capp St. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 7AM–7PM; Thursday 7AM–5PM; Saturday 7AM–12PM.

- Hospitality House: Case management, DMV Vouchers, snacks, case management support and hygiene kits. Limited to 15 individuals at one time. Limited phone use available. Monday–Friday (Hours vary by day) at 146 Leavenworth St. Call 415-749-2100 for updates. Wear a mask. If you don’t have one, one will be provided.
- St. Anthony’s: Connecting guests to information and referrals from the pop-up tent outside 121 Golden Gate Ave Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday (9AM–12PM; 1–4PM)
Employment Support
- Employment Development Division: If you have experienced any of the following due to COVID- 19, you may be eligible to apply for Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) benefits through EDD. You can file a claim or apply directly on their website if you think you may be eligible. (More program options through website FAQ). The federal government has approved an extension of PUA benefits. With the new extension, PUA includes up to 86 weeks of benefits, beginning February 2, 2020. The date you can start collecting these benefits depends on when you were directly affected by COVID-19 and the date you filed your PUA claim.
- Unemployment Insurance: You have lost your job or had hours reduced due to COVID-19
- Paid Family Leave: You are caring for an ill or quarantined family member with COVID-19
- Disability Insurance: You are unable to work due to medical quarantine or illness related to COVID-19 (certified by a medical profession)
- ECS’s Essential Workers training program offers 6-9 week training on workplace proficiencies, essential services training, professional development, intensive client services and more. Participants receive employment coaching and job search assistance. Tuition free with open enrollment. MUST have access to a computer and internet. - Downtown Street Teams is now re-opened! Join their team to support the beautifying of San Francisco while learning hands-on skills for long term employment. - Vocational Support for those accessing mental health resources through Behavioral Health Services: If you are already being seen by a clinic, you may have access to vocational training and support programs! - Mission Economic Development Agency (MEDA): Tax support. Call 415-612-2014, ext 6.
- IRS Economic Impact Payment: The 2021 Economic Impact Payments are now on the way. The IRS is now sending the 2021 Economic Impact Payments in accordance with the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, signed into law on March 11, 2021. Check when and how your payment was sent with the Get My Payment tool.
- Did you miss the deadline to register for the Economic Impact Payments? If so, you may be eligible for both Economic Impact Payments by filing a 1040 or 1040-SR in 2021 to claim the Recovery Rebate Credit.
- Smart Money Coaching: Smart Money Coaching provides free, confidential, one-on-one, personalized financial guidance. Accessible for seniors (60+) and adults with disabilities, lost their job due to COVID or is currently unhoused. Sign-up at Take Out Center and bring ID or plan to provide name and DOB. - HSH Emergency Back-Up Home Care Program: Eligible to older adults and individuals with disabilities, this program includes critical personal care and domestic services that if not performed will result in an imminent health and safety issue. If you are an IHSS client, call your social worker in the program. If you are not an IHSS client, you may call 415-355-6700 to request support.
Hygiene Care
- St. Anthony’s Hygiene Hub: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:30AM – 2:30PM, Wednesday: 7:30AM – 12PM at 150 Golden Gate Avenue, 1st Floor. Free access to showers, toilets, laundry machines, personal care products, and a fresh change of clothes to anyone who is in need. Showers are private, single-occupancy rooms, and laundry machines are available for guests to self-operate.
- LavaMaeˣ: Showers available at the SF Community Health Center at 790 Ellis Street every Thursday 8:00AM–1:00PM. LavaMaeˣ provides free showers and hygiene essentials to anyone. - HAP Legal and Warrants Clinic: The clinic works toward the resolution of warrants that may be standing in the way of access to vital social programs. HAP provides referrals to clients for a variety of legal issues, including resolution of traffic tickets, where to start applying for GA or SSI, or where to go to deal with a family law issue. Rental Support
- CA COVID-19 Rent Relief: Eligible tenants and landlords can apply to get up to 18 months of rental assistance including prospective rental assistance and utility assistance.
- How to apply: Please visit housingiskey.com to complete an online application. For additional information, including eligibility and application help, call the CA COVID-19 Rent Relief Call Center at 833-430-2122.
- The online application is available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, and Tagalog. If you need assistance in another language, or if you need help to find out your eligibility, fill out an application, or upload required paperwork, schedule an appointment with an organization near you by calling 833-687-0967.
- Eviction Defense Collaborative: Open Monday, Wednesday, Friday 10–11:30AM and 1–2:30PM. Transportation
- Access Pass: MUNI only pass for individuals experiencing homelessness for free fare on MUNI. Submit an application either online, by mail, or in person at 11 South Van Ness for your pass!
- 1st Time Tow / Homelessness Fee Waiver: Eligible vehicle owners experiencing homelessness who have visited a Coordinated EntryPoint in the past 6 months will receive
- Administrative fee waiver
- Tow fee waiver
- Up to fifteen calendar days storage waiver
- Dolly waiver
- Cab Fare Discounts (Essential Trip Card) If you are 65+ or living with disabilities, you qualify to apply for an ETC that will subsidize 2-3 round trips per month by regular taxi for essential trips, like the grocery store or pharmacy. Eligible participants will pay only 20% of the cost. For example, you pay $6 to have a total of $30 on your card. Call 3-1-1 to apply or see more here.
- Clipper START is a pilot program to provide single-ride discounts to eligible riders.
- Participants can receive:
- a 50% discount on Caltrain, Muni, and Golden Gate Transit and Ferry
- a 20% discount on BART
- To qualify you must:

- Be 19-64 years old
- Not have an RTC Clipper card for folks with disabilities
- Have a household income of less than 200% of the federal poverty level

Women Services, Domestic Abuse Support
- La Casa de Las Madres: La Casa’s Drop-in Counseling Center is open for walk-ins on Mondays–Fridays from 9AM–4:30PM for the following services: Options Counseling, La Casa Resources, Community Referrals, Mail Pick-Up, and Toiletry and Diaper Pick-up

- SafeHouse:Hope Center is a drop-in center in the heart of the Tenderloin at 253-255 Hyde St (between Eddy & Turk) serving women and gender nonbinary folks experiencing sex exploitation, domestic violence and homelessness. A drop-in space for healing and support. SafeHouse Hope Center services include case management, referrals, advocacy, screening for SafeHouse transitional housing program, phone charging, computer use, food/drinks, hygiene items, clothing/shoes/jackets, space to relax, unwind and build community.

- CAAP Benefits have begun to provide up to $588 per month for new applicants that are experiencing homelessness. If you are already on CAAP and experiencing homelessness, you can call to request the full amount.
4/17/20
- Essential Trip Card Application subsidizes 2-3 round trips per month by taxi for individuals 65+ or with disabilities. Eligible participants will pay 20% of the cost of a regular cab ride fare for essential trips. Call 3-1-1 to apply.
- Requirements waived for Benefits and Emergency Food Assistance. You do not need to renew benefits through June 2020 and you will keep receiving your current benefits without interruptions. CalFresh is providing them maximum allowable benefits per household for March and April.
