On October 16th, we hosted our 75th Community Day of Service. More than a thousand people experiencing homelessness and at risk of homelessness joined us to receive services.
The goal of our events is to make access to services more efficient and effective. Below are the results of some feedback from our recent event!
- 96% Said that they feel better now about their overall outlook and wellness than prior to attending the Community Day of Service.
- 93% of Participants were satisfied with the services that they came to receive.
- 81% Received a service that they could not have otherwise received.

Other Highlights:
Governor Gavin Newsom, who founded PHC as Mayor of San Francisco in 2004, toured the event and reflected upon the expansion of services and increased effectiveness of PHC. Governor Newsom provided a Commendation to PHC for our services and impact!
We were honored to accept a Proclamation from Senator Scott Weiner in honor of our services to the community!
