In Kind
Our In Kind department received a donation of 336 Nature’s Bakery Bars, 416 hygiene kits, and a walker and wheelchair to give to our participants. We are happy to announce that we will be partnering with Incredible Ventures all summer to supply our clients with sleeping bags.
Outreach Walks
During the month of June, PHC engaged in record high number of Outreach Walks. We hosted 7 Outreach Walks with 77 volunteers. Two of our groups from Google assembled 200 hygiene kits for PHC and the group from Deloitte assembled 400 hygiene kits.
Highlights
- We provided services to more than 200 participants at the Mission Navigation Center (through the Shelter Connect program) and outside the SF Public Library. We were excited to participate at the last Pop Up Care Village that celebrated three years of Lava Mae’s amazing work.
- The Services team conducted a presentation about PHC services and housing information to the Community Ambassadors.
- We returned 330 calls from our free Resource Line and replied to 42 emails including our website Get Help inquiries.
Mid-year Report
We served a total of 2534 unduplicated participants and provided a total of 6091 services.
We received and responded to 1782 messages in our Resource Line and 268 “Get Help” web inquiries, including emails.
